She has been working as a librarian at the TAFL Center since 2006. She worked as a coordinator for the following programs hosted by the TAFL Center: - Academic Partner Coordinator from 2009 to 2013 for the American Councils Flagship Program. - Language Partner Coordinator from 2009 to 2016 for the American Councils Flagship Program, Georgetown University, IFSA Program, Utah University, the University of New Mexico, ISLI program, and Ningxia University Program. She holds a Master of Arts in Information Technology and is currently a PhD researcher in Information Technology.
×She has been working as an Indoors Student Activities Coordinator at the TAFL Center since 2017. She has worked for the following programs hosted by the Center: University of Ningxia, Chinese CCIEE, University of Cambridge, University of Copenhagen, Aarhus University, University of Oslo, and Busan University of Foreign Studies. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the department of Geography and Information Systems in 2015 (Department of Surveying and Maps). Furthermore, she obtained a Pre-Master’s degree in Human Geography with a grade of “Very Good” in 2017. In 2017, she submitted her MA thesis proposal entitled “Non-Arab Foreign Minorities in Alexandria from 1917 to 2017: A Study in Population Geography”.
×She has worked as a student affairs administrator for registration and results at the TAFL Center since 2003 for various programs. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Education from the Department of Geography in 2001, then a special diploma in "Application of Quality Standards in Class Management".
×Dr. Lana Habib is the Executive Director of the TAFL Centre at Alexandria University since April 2011. She is a lecturer of Francophone Literature and Modern and Contemporary Poetry in the Department of French Language and Literature - Faculty of Arts - Alexandria University. She holds the position of Principal Investigator of the international project Erasmus + “Towards Excellence in Teaching Foreign Languages” at Alexandria University as well as its dissemination committee. She is also a TOT trainer in the program of “The Strategies of the Communicative Approach in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language”. Dr. Habib works on developing cultural competence in foreign language classes. Dr. Habib worked as a teacher of the Egyptian vernacular Arabic in the Middlebury program at Alexandria University from 2008 to 2011, and she also developed a few educational materials, including the Egyptian vernacular Arabic for the Middlebury program and the Egyptian cinema for the Flagship program.
×- He has been working as an IT Specialist and Outdoors Student Activities Coordinator since 2016. He is responsible for the technical support at TAFL Center and worked as a coordinator for the Chinese Ningxia University program and worked with programs hosted by the Center such as the University of Copenhagen, the University of Cambridge, Aarhus University and the University of Oslo. - He was responsible for the technical support for the Language Development Laboratory of the XCELING project “Towards Excellence in Applied Linguistics” funded by the European Union Erasmus+. Alexandria University won this funding through the period from 2017 until 2021. - He coordinates and supervises students’ trips, sports and social activities in addition to the reservation of medical appointments for students. - He holds a Bachelor of Quality Control.
×She has been working as the Language Partner Coordinator at the TAFL Center since 2018. She worked for the following programs while hosted by the TAFL Center: University of Ningxia, Chinese CCIEE, University of Cambridge, University of Copenhagen, University of Oslo, and Aarhus University. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the department of Libraries and Information, then a general diploma from the Faculty of Education in 2016, and a diploma in teaching Arabic for non-native speakers in 2018.
×She has been responsible for preparing printed and audio educational materials (audio- visual materials) at the TAFL Center since 2015. She has worked for each of the following programs hosted by the TAFL Center: Ningxia University, Chinese CCIEE Program, Cambridge University, Copenhagen University, University of Oslo, and Aarhus University. She has also worked as an administrator for the XCELING Project since 2017. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance from the Business Division, Alexandria University in 2013, and then obtained a Qualified Accountant Diploma (Q.A.D).
×- She works as a public relations officer since 2009. She is also the official representative of the TAFL Center at the Visa department and has been in charge of residency paperwork and procedures for TAFL students, since 2012. - She has also worked as a public relations officer at the Central Bank, Alexandria in 2004. - She worked as a secretary at the Higher Institute in King Mariout, Alexandria, in the same year of her graduation in 1986.
×She is responsible for the students’ residency paperwork and also works as the administrator of the Teacher Training course. She performs secretarial work, such as: copying, compiling and typing curricula. Among the other responsibilities is being in charge of the procedures of the paperwork required for the residency permits of the foreign students. She is also responsible for the paperwork, registration, and workshops schedules of the TOT course that is held regularly at the Center in addition to correspondence with the trainees regarding the course. She holds a Diploma in Commerce and has been working as an administrator at the TAFL Center for nearly 25 years.
